Exactly 85 years ago, on August 23 1927,  Nicola Sacco and Bartolomeo Vanzetti were executed. Theirs was the trial of the century (not OJ Simpson’s), they were anarchists accused of murder and robbery in a much criticized trial. 50 years after they were  pardoned by then governor Michael Dukakis who declared that they  were unfairly convicted and executed.

It is important to remember now, given how some bigot conservative forces are trying to destroy the US and its people right now.
