But will the merger affect them musically? Financially it's Sidus, but what does Cube even do anymore then? Manage trainees?

Asked by: Anonymous

Cube added its music expertise to the company by transplanting itself into Sidus, but as you probably noticed there are new managers and all  artists are far busier than one year ago. As far as production and sound  Mr. Hong still has the last word, but as far as scheduling, bookings, PR and media Sidus has the upper hand.

reeminiscing said: I was actually waiting to see what you had to say since you’re more knowledgeable on these matters, but I’m curious as to why it means the end of Cube? You mean business decisons and control? (I’m pretty slow when it comes to business :s)

It is the end of Cube as we know it. Now it is a new entity, more powerful, farther reaching. It must be seen mostly as a management upgrade, iHQ  definitely has a more knowlegeable marketing department and I also expect them to have a better evolved PR management unlike Cube’s monkey with a phone. XDD

I am really curious to see how Cube artists will benefit from it. My hope is that they’ll all get better worldwide distribution and more solo projects.
